When doctor is a patient This was an anxiously awaited visit by Tom to his oncologist. He himself being a physician, knew what was to come. He had been tracking his blood tests and had seen an increase in the M-protein, silently announcing that Myeloma, the blood cancer had relapsed.   That morning he has had a conversation with his wife. The day is very near when we will be able to submit the human sperms and eggs to the genetic laboratory. The scientists will run the DNA analysis of these cells within few hours. All the defective or undesirable genes will be edited out and replaced with healthy and “desirable” genes and the fertilized egg will be placed in the body of the host.
